Melanie is a nationally recognized dietitian with over a decade of experience specializing in kidney stone and renal nutrition. Based in Chicago, she founded her blog and resource platform in 2020 to help both patients and healthcare professionals make sense of nutrition in kidney stone prevention and kidney health.
She holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Nutrition from Rush University and a Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics from Michigan State University. She is certified in renal nutrition, serves as Chair-Elect for the Renal Practice Group of the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics, and holds leadership roles with other kidney health organizations.
