Laura is an MSc Dietetics student with a BSc in Nutrition and a particular interest in how nutrition can improve interventions in healthcare.
Laura Fletcher is studying for an MSc in Dietetics, where she enjoys applying what she learned in her BSc in Nutrition to the clinical setting.
Her undergraduate research looked at the impact of overweight and obesity on the survival outcomes of cancer patients treated with immune-checkpoint inhibitors. As a result, she particularly enjoys researching how nutrition can help improve or alter interventions within the healthcare setting.
Her love of food and nutrition began when she was younger, baking and cooking for her family and adapting her recipes to suit everyone’s preferences. Outside university, she enjoys trying new coffee shops, ice skating and going to the gym.
